What is a Section 21 application?

A Section 21 application is a special licence granted by the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA) that allows patients to access unregistered medicines, including medical cannabis, in specific cases. 

At Curabliss, our doctors will apply for your Section 21 on your behalf if they believe medical cannabis is a suitable treatment for your condition. Once approved, the permit is valid for six months.
